Clinical supervision
Our psychologists have many years of experience in both the NHS and in private practice. Our joint experience covers a range of specialist areas, both in health and in education. We offer sessions to employees of public health & social care services, independent healthcare & childcare organisations and private practitioners. There is a growing recognition of the importance of clinical supervision as a fundamental base to providing and sustaining high quality mental health services. Supervision has many functions including maintaining the quality of clinical service provision; preventing burnout; enhancing self-awareness in clinical practice and in the development of professional identity.
Clinical supervision promotes reflective practice, employing experiential learning which aims to develop and consolidate the supervisee's clinical skills.
Clinical supervision is a regular commitment, the frequency of which is based on individual need.
