I support schools with a full range of EP services that include assessment; consultation and problem-solving approaches; capacity building; and training. Training offered to schools is tailored to meet the unique needs of the setting and I frequently deliver sessions on trauma; building resilience; therapeutic approaches; anxiety; mental health; and behaviour. I am particularly passionate about promoting the inclusion of children with mental health and behavioural needs and I work closely with schools to develop targeted provision.
Supporting parents is at the heart of my approach and I have experience in running attachment-based parenting groups for parents, foster carers, special guardians, and adoptive parents. I work closely with social care colleagues and have experience in supporting children who are adopted and looked after.
I completed a full range of EP assessments and work collaboratively with schools and families to identify learning strengths, needs and provision to meet these within school.
I access regular training to meet my own developmental needs and I am registered with the Health Care Professions Council, British Psychological Society, and the Association of Educational Psychologists.
